Sugar Mice
Feb 2017 - Smock Alley Boy’s School, Scene and Heard Festival

Dublin, 1941. Backstreets whisper with an answer to an all-too-familiar problem. Life and Death entwine on the cellar of a sweet shop floor. Two women. Hearts in their hands. A world of sugary deceit and the state's all seeing eyes.
A play set in 1940’s Dublin, drawing parallels with women’s reproductive rights then and now by asking the question, what has changed?
